Burt’s Bees Wild Cherry
In Spring 2025, I had the opportunity to take a course in Advertising Illustration. The first assignment in that course was to advertise a product of our choice, and I chose to redesign the packaging for and create an accompanying promotional advertisement for Burt’s Bees Wild Cherry flavored lip balm.
In my solution, I aimed to create a packaging that was more cohesive with the packaging for some of their other products, and showing that lip balm is more than just a moisturizer for chapped lips — it’s an experience for the consumer.
I wanted the promotional advertisement to showcase the same feeling, along with animated assets intended to capture the viewer’s attention as they’re scrolling!
Digital mock up and illustrations created in Adobe Photoshop. Animation created in Adobe After Effects. Physical mock ups printed at SCAD Labs and assembled by hand!
